DEFENCE SPACE ADMINISTRATION (DSA) VISITS DIGITAL FOOTPRINTS
On Thursday, 23rd September 2021, Digital Footprints Ltd hosted a delegation of the Defence Space Administration. The team, which was led by the Director, Cybersecurity, visited the facility for inspection and to get a practical feel of our capabilities.
The MD/CEO of Digital Footprints, Engr. Robinson Tombari Sibe welcomed the team and thanked the DSA for the opportunity given to the company to demonstrate our capabilities and competencies. He commended the DSA for the critical and strategic role they play in national security and promised that Digital Footprints would be looking forward to collaborating and forging a productive relationship in service to our nation.
The DSA Act 2016 was enacted by the National assembly and signed into law in 2017. It was set up with the mission “to support the armed forces of Nigeria and other security agencies with relevant space products necessary” in line with the National Space Policy Programme. A key function of the DSA is to "Provide resilient and affordable Space and Cyberspace capabilities for the Nigerian Military, other Security and Law Enforcement Agencies".
In his vote of thanks, Brig. Gen. M.K. GARA thanked Digital Footprints for hosting the DSA and for demonstrating their technical capabilities. He noted that they look forward to fostering a relationship that will be of benefit to our country, Nigeria.
The visit ended with the presentation of a DSA Plaque by the Director Cybersecurity to the MD/CEO of Digital Footprints.
